A Love Affair with Lavender in New York
A personal tartan inspired by a woman’s many trips to Scotland, and her deep fondness for our country’s heritage and culture.
Love for the thistle, Scotland’s national flower, informed the design’s colours - not only the natural purple and pink hues of the flower itself, but its often beautiful setting too. The celebration of the landscape did not stop there as the base grey was inspired by Scotland’s vast beauty stretching from the rugged and rocky Highlands to the coastal lowlands.
