A New York Wedding in Scotland
In September of 2017 a New York couple created one of the most memorable days in their lives. As part of the special occasion, a unique tartan that enhances the bond between the Bride and Groom was created by us.
We worked with our clients from our Highland studio across the Atlantic, ensuring that the experience of being here was fully delivered to them. We took every detail of the their story and ensured it was woven into every aspect of their design, the colours and the size of the colour blocks each having a special and personal meaning to the couple.
The Groom proudly wore his personal tartan in the form of traditional Highland Dress, the kilt. With a continuation of their story being shared with each and every guest on the day. We designed an elegant chair sash that was gifted to all as a token of thanks for joining them that day. The sash was woven with stunning supersoft merino yarns, spun in Scotland and finished with a private monogram label, an essential for our Scottish fine weather. We are so pleased with how their tartan collection added an elegant touch to their Scottish wedding venue, the regal Mount Stuart Estate on the Isle of Bute.
